coconut chutney

grated coconut - ½ cup
chana dal - ¼ tbsp
onion - ½ pc
green chili - ½ pc
tamarind - ½ pc
rock salt (pink Himalayan) - to taste
oil - ½ tbsp
water - ½ cup
steps to do
in a blender, combine freshly grated coconut, roasted chana dal, onion, green chilies, tamarind, salt, and warm water until you achieve a smooth consistency.
in a pan, heat ½ tbsp of oil. add mustard seeds to the hot oil and let them splutter.
add dried red chili and a few curry leaves to the pan and saute until leaves turn crisp.
pour the prepared oil over the coconut chutney mixture.
